The Great American Road Trip in America is an independent road trip comedy mockumentary about Luca Wunderbaum, a self-proclaimed “professional traveller” who sets out to present America in the style of a classic television travel show — despite not always knowing where he is, what he is talking about, or why everything keeps going wrong.

Inside the production car, producer Robert A. Palmer (Hell's kitchen, The curse of Oak island) tries to keep the production alive as the polished travel show slowly collapses into a behind-the-scenes comedy about making the movie itself.

Part travel parody, part buddy road movie, part production disaster, the film follows Luca and Rob across America through famous landmarks, roadside oddities, fast food, confused locals, wrong turns, and increasingly impossible travel-show ambitions.
